Finally seeing the LEGO Movie tonight. How did I miss out on this amazingness?

The new live action The Jungle Book is nothing short of amazing. If you haven't seen it, you need to rent it right now.

I agree. It was fantastic. It was way better than the animated one which was pretty darn good in its own right.

Also, I let the son and his friends watch Armageddon this weekend. I looked up the parent reviews. The last paragraph talked about how it could be frightening to young children. The review ended with, "The scientific inaccuracies could also be very frightening."

There are often 30min LEGO shows on that have similar humor. I try to get my kids to turn to those instead of Pippa Pig.

Have had a fair amount of family drama today but thankfully we have had a pretty good day with lunch in the Amanas as the highlight. Just kind of cranky tonight between the family stuff, Cubs game being blacked out despite being in LA and stupid store tornado warning policies.

some annoying moments but got to see some family. Tired this morning though.

Showed up for pictures 30 minutes late (I had texted to see if things were running on time) and we were still 20 minutes early.
