Speaking of coders, I really enjoyed Hornsbys but have not seen it on the shelves for quite a while
Really. We had plenty of geeks apply for a recent programming position we advertised for.
I'm wolfing down a Five Guys burger with grilled onions, grilled mushrooms and grilled jalapenos, a small fry, and a cherry vanilla Dr. Pepper.

AC fail. In other news I've been sitting on the tarmac at MsP for the better part of 45 minutes. ATC isn't letting anyone leave, weather maybe.
At least the temp isn't too bad. Are you going on vacation? If so, where to?
I'm jealous. Leftover spaghetti here. Are you at your office or at the restaurant wolfing down some peanuts too?
Office. I usually eat at my desk since my wife normally has the car when we carpool. I had the car and decided to escape for a few minutes. I did eat some peanuts while waiting for the order, though. Out of principle.
I'm now watching the needle on the regret meter go from "Damn, that tasted good" to "Oh, I need a nap". I'll be hitting "My stomach feels funny" in about half an hour, then "maybe that really wasn't a good idea" shortly after. Hopefully I won't red-line at "I should probably apologize to anyone that has to use the bathroom the rest of the day"
I really enjoyed Hilton Head when my sister used to work out there, but I haven't been back in probably 25 years. I hear it gets super crowded. I've been wanting to get down in the Carolinas (North or South) again. Let me know how it goes and if you have any good locations/recommendations.
Smoked turkey & cojack sandwich on wheat with Miracle Whip & a cherry yogurt. Everything but the Miracle Whip is HyVee brand. Yeesh. Even my drink. HyVee peach melba water cooler.
Watching the CWS. Bottom of the 6th in the championship game...Coastal Carolina up 4-0. Just noticed Arizona's batting helmets look pretty sharp in the bright red matte.
Well, I'm not a huge baseball fan. I did go to one of the games last week, but that was mostly to see the friend that had tickets.
Downtown Minneapolis got nailed right around noon so they were probably waiting for that to roll through.
I have family in Columbia that I visit once per year or so. I usually go in the fall but I have ten days off centered around the 4th so I figured I would make a trip down. It's going to be hot, hopefully we will make a trip to Edisto.
Makes sense, maybe they thought they could get us out ahead of it, just seemed silly to take a flight that was already delayed and push from the gate to spend an hour waiting on the taxi way.
