Random Thoughts VIII: The Ocho

no kickball but went to dinner anyway. Good times. Going to a play one weekend now with friends, camping another, and newer set of friends who lived the furthest away just bought a house IN ONE DAY (like, they went to an info seminar with our realtor friend, only people there so they looked at houses, saw two, and bought the first one! Bet realtor friend loves them more than take-forever DH and I) and will now be living in the town I work in 15 minutes away! So that leaves one friend in our group on the other side of town and he's thinking of selling and moving to where other friends' just bought. We are pulling them all closer to us!

Also, the topic of baby boners came up and DH caught the woman at the next table looking absolutely horrified at us. Oh and English friend's Scottish BF was in town so we gave them lots of ****. And I've been replaced at first base in kickball. I'm ok with this.

I'm capturing them all and putting them into our orbit. Wife of the moving closer couple has a semi-teaching type job so she's like we could get lunch sometime! I'm so excited friends are getting closer to us! In fact, if two of them end up in that town, we may actually end up being in the center so we could host more :) I feel bad hosting much now because the two friends considering moving are currently the furthest from us so it makes a longer drive for them. Well, the one friend always likes to host so we have to do the 35-40 min drive. I'd love for that to go away! And then when picking locations for rec sports we could always pick this side of town!

IDk how it came up but realtor friend has the only baby in our friends group and he's like 10 months old. So apparently that topic came up when purchasing house friends were at their house with realtor. So we were laughing about it and I guess older woman at the next table heard and was horrified.

Hopefully she didn't catch Scottish guy saying that his GF"s part of England was the cousin-marrying part.









Though I've read a lot of English history, isn't all of England the cousin-marrying part?

That's a quality post for a non sport update. So where do you move to on the kickball team? Also for as much you like volleyball how have you never convinced your friends to start a volleyball team?
 
Biking gods smiled upon me tonight, tailwinds on the way out, mild by the time I turned around. Conquered the hill successfully tonight (shift early, shift often). Did not look good finishing hill but I made it.

Worked on a roof today steel got pretty warm in the afternoon, project got done so that's what counts.

I still don't get whether it's some guy getting a boner cause he wants a baby, or a baby is getting a boner.

The part of England that is cousin-marrying is usually the nobility & royalty. :)
 
Baby getting a bone though I think that lady thought the other version. Pants, yes. Nwicy, we do have one this summer finally! I'm the captain and I already hate it cause person runn8ng it seems inept. First game is next Friday at 945pm. We normally play Mondays but the 4th and all. Unlike our other leagues, they don't account for holidays and add a week or whatever. They make you reschedule to the weirdest times like weekdays prior to 6pm. oh well, hopefully it's fun.got lots of practice on vacation!

Baby and bone shouldn't be said so closely together in a story. Just erects the wrong idea. Now...you can say baby back ribs allllll you want. Delish.
