I was just on the phone with a lady and she put me on hold. Then she picked up the line and started yelling at me about how much money I spent, getting my lazy *** off the couch and getting a job or she was leaving me.
Some people should really double check to make sure they pick up the right line before they unload on a caller.

Okay, just one more multi-necked oddity. This one is a 42 stringer but still not the most strings on a guitar type instrument.
You can even find a guitar/harp hybrid out there.

Same size. Sets of two strings just sit close together. So you have a set of two high Es, two Bs, then every other one has the regular string and then the other is one octave have, so G and one octave higher, D and one octave higher, etc.
Not sure if serious. A 12 string has strings in pairs on the guitar so when you play it you get the two strings sounding together. Generally when you see a two necked guitar it is a combination of a 6 string (one neck) and a 12 string (the other neck) You can tell if it is a 12 string by looking at the tuning pegs. If there are 12 of them you are looking at a 12 string.
If you listen to stairway to heaven, Jimmy Page starts the simpler portion of the song on the six string of his double neck guitar and as the sound gets broader he is playing the 12 string.

I should have read through before answering, because it looks like Velo covered it.
I think the "benefit" of the two neck guitar is that you can tune them differently and not have to switch guitars/have an additional guitar. So one would be standard tuned while the other is tuned to a different key and you can switch mid song.
Personally, I think they're strictly for showmanship.

The first concert I attended was REO Speedwagon and Cheap Trick. The Cheap Trick guitarist was very proud of his guitar and had named it ****.

I have pictures of that buried somewhere in our storage room. That was sooooo fun! I still play occasionally with the grand kids, but I pay for it later.
Lew has some NSFW of me competing with our boys when they were in their late teens...I was doing some weird contortion to get my leg moved underneath my body from one edge of the mat to the other...WHILE I was underneath one of the guys. I managed to do it without touching my knee to the mat, but it was punctuated with ****! ****! ****! the whole time! Grandkids will have to be a lot older before they get to see that tape.
Best friend runs a group here called the "Omaha Corgi Crew" and they have meetups once a month at the dog park. I went to the last one with her, took Lulu. It was derpalicious....so I can't imagine what it would be like to have 500-600 corgis in one spot.
