*** Official 2015-16 NBA Playoff Thread ***

Really have not watched the finals that much and don't care who wins.

But given the history of NBA officials, I have little doubt about officials in that league having a big part determining outcome of games whenever they choose to do it. Sounds like last night they chose to do it.

Few games I have watched in these playoff's the NBA is nothing but a clutch and grab league, really ugly basketball.
They really didnt. It was just a few calls throughout the game on Steph that everyone associated with the Warriors is ******** about. I really didn't think it was that poorly called of a game.

Thx, has Curry fouled out of even 1 game prior to this one?

Like we were saying before, this is the last series I can think of where griping about calls make sense.

We've had a clearly much better and more deserving team in each of the 6 games, 3 each.

Plus Curry got some calls in this game he probably shouldn't have including drawing a foul against LeBron with some acting on incidental contact where they both just dove for a ball...which I believe is exactly what he was complaining about on his last mouthpiece throwing foul and LeBron didn't even flop or spaz like Curry in the other case. He threw the mouthpiece because his team got spanked a second straight game, not because they were getting screwed on calls.

I am 99% sure there have been outright fixed series (Kings/Lakers) and this series result has nothing to do with the zebras. I'm a Bulls fan who has been known to not be a James fan in the past, I really am just tuning in because NBA basketball is my favorite sport rather than a rooting interest. I think it's simply sour grapes from fans and players who were used to tearing through the regular season with little resistance. LeBron and Irving have been the best players in the past two games, that's why the Cavs extended this thing.

Did GSW think they'd win NBA finals games where the best players on the other team scored over 150 points in two straight games. News flash, that's not likely for any team. They need to limit James and Irving, it has little to do with officiating.

Here's why the Cavs forced Game 7

41 points, 11 assists, 8 rebounds, 3 blocks, 4 steals, over 60% shooting
41 points, 6 assists, 3 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 block, over 60% shooting
41 points, 7 assists, 16 rebounds, 3 blocks, 3 steals, over 50% shooting

That's two guys within 2 games. Nobody on the Warriors was playing at that level, Thompson scored 37 in one game but he was basically just a jump shooter. Look at those lines, LeBron has been all over the place. His previous two games are about as good as I've seen from a player in a finals. He's at 41-12-9-3-3- 58% for a line the past two games.

Why is everyone complaining about the fouls called on Curry? On his 5th foul, he may have hit the ball clean when he actually knocked it away, but he was fouling Irving the two seconds leading up to it. It's like in soccer where you let something go unless the foul gives an advantage to the other team. On the sixth foul, he smacked Lebron completely on the hands and don't think he ever even made contact with the ball. Oh yeah, and this happened 75 feet from the basket. He played stupid, with maybe only one of his fouls being questionable.

His sixth foul was basically an intentional foul by him in frustration that LeBron has been WAY better than Curry in the Finals.

My head says the home team of this caliber won't lose a third straight. But if they don't limit James and Irving more than the past two games it could be quite the story for the cavs.

I hope the Cavs pull it out. Should be a fun game 7.

It's a toss up. Hard to imagine the Warriors dropping three straight, plus they're always a couple made three pointers from finding their rhythm and going on a tear. Plus there have been eighteen NBA Finals Game 7s, and the home team is 15-3, with the last road team winning all the way back in 1978 (thanks, Google!)

But Lebron is on a roll unlike anything I've seen before, and I doubt he gives a damn about any of the above stats. And it looks very much like the season-long pressure of chasing the '96 Bulls has finally broken Golden State. Players and coaches all looked rattled last night. It's one thing to lose on the road, but the way they lost should be concerning. Their best player totally lost his mind and their coach talked his way into what will probably be a $50,000 fine.

I have no idea what's going to happen on Sunday night. But I think it's going to be awesome.

Kyrie Irving only scored 3 points in the second half after going for 20 in the first. Does that have something to do with him tweaking his foot or was that Lebron taking over? Cleveland needs Irving to score at least 20 for them to be able to win, probably more like 30 because the game is in Oakland.

Lebron was taking over. He is on a mission. Win or lose Sunday, his effort is going to be one for the ages. Greatest player of his generation. I think he is leading both teams this series in 5 statistical categories. Ridiculous.

Would sure help the Cavs if their $100 million dollar man K-Love showed up

That's amazing. Game 7 should be unbelievable. I wouldn't be surprised if Lebron dropped 50+
