VERY frustrated pair of hummingbirds outside the office window - Until PapaLew gets the gutters back up, the feeders can't go back up. We like them in those windows because they're easy to see, and they tease the cats.

VERY true! We've had one tiny one (maybe 1.5 inches) that likes to fly right up to the window - we get nose prints all over the window when he's around.
Talk here in the Cities is that CyArob has most excellent lifting technique as evidenced by his healthy back.

I've owned a few Chevy cars: '88 Cavalier (my first car), Beretta (forgot the year, but I absolutely loved this car), '99 Malibu (unfortunately got rear-ended), and '01 Malibu (since my '99 got wrecked). I really enjoyed my Beretta and both Malibus were great cars. I put a TON of miles on those suckers.Malibus are very similar to the now defunct Lumina line. Elmer was a 2001 Lumina. I'd still be driving him if a) his body wasn't shedding rusty pieces down the highways, and b) he hadn't been stolen from son & bashed on the left front wheel well.
Went out to the airport to see my aunt and uncle leave. He taxied out and was about to do his run-up on the run-up pad but then a Delta flight to Detroit called for taxi and he decided to just do it on the taxiway so Delta had to wait behind him instead of the other way around. Just after they departed with the Delta waiting behind them ATC called and Detroit was now in a ground stop and their departure clearance was cancelled for an hour. Now they probably would have had to hold in the air but they would at least have been on their way instead of sitting in CR for another hour. Suckers.
I'm so out of shape. Not fat but not in shape. I just played soccer with some young guns. I was the second oldest there and the oldest was in the grade above me.
I figured she was doing the same thing you do when you talk about "shaking your hand". 50 steps in like 15 seconds with erratic steps at the end.
Went biking along the Cedar River yesterday. Cottonwood trees blowing their stuff everywhere. Allergies so bad today.
Mrs. Velo out right now. She'll be tired when she gets back. I might wait until late afternoon in hopes that the wind dies down a little.
