Random Thoughts VIII: The Ocho

Speaking of names; I've been trying to decide on a name for my car. Nothing has felt quite right yet.

Forgot to say I'm slightly jealous of the "new" car. I was very sad when a deer decided to end its life by jumping in front of my husband, driving 72 mph on I80, and wrecked our 2002 Chevy Malibu. I would love to get another one. I'm happy you found one you like.

I've been watching the remake of "Roots" this past week, so I'm envisioning some type of similar naming ceremony.

No CG party post updates must have been heck of party. So I'm slightly confused about the DH shirt thing was it some type of polo or just a new T shirt, and if so why would the t shirt be so great.

Deciding on where to go biking thought about HTT but don't know if I want to fight the crowds.

party ended about midnight. I had too much of the homemade margarita stuff, but I did not end up puking or in pain today by some miracle. I did notice both my water bottles are about empty so that helps. Think I also took aspirin before bed. I tried to kick the kickball toward the end and I think I mostly missed the ball so that is funny to replay in my head. I realized I was short on my steps so I decided to run around, stomach didn't like that so I lied on the ground and shook my hand for the last 50. Couple people brought gifts (so kind) and both were rum, hahaha. It was much fun and we have waaay too much food.

So I'm eating pizza and 7-up for breakfast (stomach is a little off but not bad).

The Roman-Wisconsin orgy likely rendered any and all shirts, polos or T's, into torn fragments of rag stock.

:swoon:

Malibus are very similar to the now defunct Lumina line. Elmer was a 2001 Lumina. I'd still be driving him if a) his body wasn't shedding rusty pieces down the highways, and b) he hadn't been stolen from son & bashed on the left front wheel well. :) Man, I loved that car! We actually kept him & traded Reggie back in....PapaLew has about an 8 mile commute, and now that Kate is awaiting her nose job, he'll be driving Elmer. We've been talking about it for a while, but when that tree fell on Kate it accelerated the process.

Moving furniture sucks. Knowing I have to move it back is worse.

Should add, I still remember that scene from the original (which I watched religiously...including telling my ex that we would NOT go visit his bigoted family if I was not able to watch the episode in peace in another room...we stayed home). If that seems extreme, bear in mind this was even before VCRs. :)

VERY frustrated pair of hummingbirds outside the office window - Until PapaLew gets the gutters back up, the feeders can't go back up. We like them in those windows because they're easy to see, and they entertain the cats. :)
