That is a favorite of mine. Just make sure to never ask for the boot...

Wrong Turn and Hostel I almost would consider more "torture pron" than slashers. Not my cup of tea. The Hills Have Eyes probably falls somewhere in between. You can pretty much leave the "trendy" slasher ones out for me. Have not seen any of the Nightmare on Elm St, Halloween, Hills Have Eyes, Wrong Turn, Scream, Hostel, Friday the 13th, yaddayadda. Watched the first Saw because I like Cary Elwes, but none of the sequels.
Well, that's 2 more people than are interested in your manscaping stories, so you're making progress.
In Pants' case, it's probably the same thing.Would rather talk manscaping than horror movies

Count me in as another fan of horror moviesSure. I think, personal preference, for me half of those, while I may find entertaining, I don't know if I could come up with any that were scary/creepy/spooky whatever. Like, there are some slasher films I enjoyed, but can't think of any that scared me.
Maybe we should start a thread about it. You, me and KC are probably the only people in the RTT interested in that.
Aw, you want us to turn the night light on for you, Slugger?
What do y'all think of the "found footage" style movies, the trend that began with Blair Witch Project?
I've found it very frustrating. Some of the story-lines would be really good, but then the movie would feel like it was "written" and "recorded" (I won't say "filmed) by an 8th grade media class - with cell phone cameras. The camera work and dialogue are usually so lame that if I start watching one now, I just turn it off. I don't even give them a chance anymore.
Nah I have my care bear blanket to protect me.
Hit or miss with me. I liked REC/Quarantine, Cloverfield, Jeruzalem, As Above So Below, etc. Hated Paranormal Activity, The Gallows, and most of the ones with whiny teenagers. What do y'all think of the "found footage" style movies, the trend that began with Blair Witch Project?
