I tried something new and I think completely ruined nap time. She's been wanting to be in a tent or hide under the covers to fall asleep. So I put one of my quilts over her crib...... Now she's all wound up and bouncing.

Sundays at my job are ****ing insane these days. I want football season back when our restaurant was slow compared to these last few months.

Didn't have time to post this before leaving for work. Back to the bread topic again how does everyone handle the bag when you have gotten the bread you want out? Do you put on the twisty tie or spin the loaf and tuck the end under the remainder of the bag.

I do both for whatever reason.

All this discussion of bread...I got a bread machine with christmas 2014 money. I have barely bought any bread since then, including hot dog buns and hamburger buns. I have bought buns when burgers/hot dogs was a last minute decision. I think I'm at 200 or 250 lbs of flour since we bought it (50 lb bags of bread flour from costco are like $20 or something, can't remember if we're on 4 or 5). It is so nice to be able to spread something on a piece of bread without it falling apart, only bad thing is dealing with the pieces that have the divots in them from the bread machine paddles.

Yesterday, I processed all the heels I had been saving up, about half went to croutons, and the other half went to bread crumbs. Also made hamburger buns for brat burgers yesterday.

Sounds like a lot of work. I'll just buy a pack of buns for 1.99 instead.

You guys are so not invited for prime rib with baked potatoes and homemade Tempranillo tonight. Go eat your flimsy store bread.

Just in case you didn't believe me...
