Marty and Miller Meltdown

They are having a real meltdown after the Cyclones comeback win last night.

They are hating on Cyclone fans. Jamie Pollard. Steve Prohm. The team.

Said the Cyclone fans are complainers. Jamie Pollard showed no class in giving high fives and whooping it up after the game. Steve Prohm showed no class in his press conference. And hated on the team as well.

Said the Cyclones should have never stormed the Court.

What I think those 2 idiots, (Marty and Miller), are missing is that Iowa State was down the entire game and only led for 30 seconds in the first half and the last 9 seconds of the game. The emotion from being down the entire game and by 20 points in the 2nd half and then winning in the last seconds was what led to the impromptu storming of the court.

It was not that Iowa State beat Iowa.......It was the way in which we did it.

They don't like Pollard because he won't go on their show, however when Marty was solo, I remember him sucking up to JP big time during an interview. So who knows.



I don't see how anyone could call Prohm unclassy in the post-game when the first thing he said was wishing Randy well.

No offense, but these threads drive me insane. Just don't listen, it's the easiest thing and really helps your blood pressure. It's similar to people going to HN, then coming back here to tell us what idiots they are over there. "Yeah, we know, that's why I don't go there."

There is a top 5 mbb team in the state and it will get little to no coverage on their show this winter because he is a little, little man.

How were they saying he was disrespectful. Prohm looked like a very relieved man, and he should. He was joking about the press conference, but he is right, that would have sucked to lose the first non-con game in Hilton in a few years on only your first season; to your in-state arch rival. Gross.

I don't get how people could hate Prohm at this point. He is just too likeable.

Speaking of press conferences, I thought Fran was pretty awesome last night. I secretly really like Fran, even though I'm not supposed to.

I usually don't listen, but just happened to be in the car when they started their show. I don't know that I'd call it a meltdown, but they were pretty negative about some of the things.

The comment that struck me the most - Miller saying CF should be shut down sometimes because of the vile hate spewed on this board. He was referencing the Randy Petersen broken leg thread. There were a couple of idiots in that thread that said some pathetic stuff, but they were quickly called out by the majority of this board. What he failed to mention was the VAST majority of that post (at least what I read) was positive and good thoughts for Randy.

All that said, they're still not good to listen to (and I think regardless of whether you're an Iowa or ISU fan). That was quickly reaffirmed to me in the 10+ min I listened.
