Marty and Miller Meltdown

Said the Cyclone fans are complainers. Jamie Pollard showed no class in giving high fives and whooping it up after the game. Steve Prohm showed no class in his press conference. And hated on the team as well.

Said the Cyclones should have never stormed the Court.

What I think those 2 idiots, (Marty and Miller), are missing is that Iowa State was down the entire game and only led for 30 seconds in the first half and the last 9 seconds of the game. The emotion from being down the entire game and by 20 points in the 2nd half and then winning in the last seconds was what led to the impromptu storming of the court.

It was not that Iowa State beat Iowa.......It was the way in which we did it.

i loved coach Prohms response after the game. He was right and has zero to apologize for.

It doesn't matter who the opponent is. Just enjoy it.

When its a pretty good team you just beat, and your biggest rival, enjoy it even more.

Marty Tirrell is a bully and a degenerate. This is the type of guy I use to fight in high school. I use to be the guy that stood up to these type of a-holes who bullied the kids in the chess club. Marty Tirrell is that type of a-hole, he picks on people that can't defend themselves/don't care enough what a man in serious debt has to say about them. It's your fault if you take this a-s hat seriously. As a matter of fact, it bothers me more the people that take him seriously more than the nonsense he says. I don't bother listening to any podcast he has. I listened to him before he had his cursing meltdown back in like 09. There is no excuse to bring that type of language to work. I take pride in the local sports coverage in Des Moines. The people that bash on Murph and Andy and even Chris's show (for some stupid reason) need to reevaluate what they are listening to, because Marty Tirrell is a low life troll and a-hole. He gives the Des Moines media a bad name. NOBODY, let me repeat, NOBODY likes you. Leave now and never come back.

Unfortunately, some people tend to run down others to make themselves feel better because their life or situation is not so great. That probably makes them feel better.

True statement. My buddy that lives in the Des Moines area was real upset they put his show over Gottlieb's/Rome's show. I've run into these type of people frequently, but it infuriates me they let somebody spew this bs on the radio. If I saw him person.......... Lol, never mind, I won't go in detail

Yes I tuned over yesterday just to hear what they were going to say about the game and was tired of Andy talking Hawkeyes. My mistake it will never happen again. Prohm must have said Randy was ISU's beat writer, and he is
really a columnist. It splitting freaking hairs. He attends most ISU major sporting events, and press conferences and writes about them. Then Marty went on to say basically unclassy ISU's fan base is and how bad of fans there are in Hilton. I just could not believe what I was hearing. Oh and the they just need to shut down Cyclone Fanatic comment.

Got all of this just by reading my FB feed for the first hour or so after the game.
