Freudian slip? Yeah, Gilbert is going all in on the remaining years of Lebron's prime, and I don't blame him. And this year might be their best chance as long as they don't get decimated by injuries again. Anthony Davis keeps getting better, and KD could take up residence in the Eastern conference next year and change the balance of power.

Haha yes I guess it was. And yeah I agree, title windows close fast, the Cavs have the team to go all in with.

Even if he somehow miraculously stays healthy they still won't even sniff the playoffs.

No. I think they'll be marginally better than last year - Russell was a smart pick and Randle might be a pretty decent if undersized 4. I'm thinking it'll be a four team race to the bottom of the West - LAL, Denver, Sacramento, and Minnesota. Right now my money would be on Sacramento, if only because I think the George Karl experiment is going to explode at some point during the season. Terrible chemistry in that organization from top to bottom.

It is with extreme sadness to report that today Phil “Flip” Saunders has passed away at age 60.

Whoa, that's sudden.

Opening day is officially here. What a better way to start out with Fred and the Bulls opening at home against Lebron and the Cavs. Hopefully the Bulls can give me a great birthday present by getting a W.

Hmmnn, Lakers in the playoffs?

They can't stop anybody and Russell hasn't been good-yet.
