When I was a kid and did dumb things, I thought they were funny, too. That's one of the reasons I did them. It took other people explaining that they weren't funny, but were actually very, very stupid, to make me fully understand and regret them.

It sounds like you might have gotten lucky; if the police really wanted to, I'm sure they could have given you a court date and you'd be talking with a juvenile probation officer right now rather than a message board. Have a good laugh while you can, and appreciate that you didn't get in more serious trouble. Just because you got away with something doesn't mean that it's not wrong and that you'll continue to get away with things.
We ran, we wont have gotten caught.

The name thing got me interested, and my name doesn't seem very popular, so I looked it up. I was right, its not.

wait, you're a girl?

You've got your work cut out for you then. I'm predicting a semester, maybe two (the second one on academic probation) followed by a couple of years at a community college before you give up and join the Army.

In one of the gameday threads he was asking for help on a high school assignment. Picturing him at ISU in laughable.

Then be extra thankful, but don't think that you won't ever get caught. Plus, you could still get in trouble for it...

When I was a kid, I egged a house with some of my friends. Even though we knew we could get in huge trouble because it was against the law, we thought it was funny, and a few people bragged about it to other kids. That's what led to us getting caught...one of those kids told their parents, who told the police, who came to school and told us all that we'd be assigned a probation officer, do hours of community service, and have this on our record until we turned 18. Suddenly it wasn't so funny.

Seriously, the first thing I'd do if I were you is stop telling people about it.

Yeah some kid told his parents that he and his friends drink. And of course they told all of the other kids parents. Now no one hangs out with him on the weekend.
