Just started the netflix series Narcos and all I can say is wow. Anyone else see it? If you like the movie Blow, American Gangster or Cocaine Coyboys you will like this . Very crazy its all based on a true story.

Finally got around to watching all of these. Great show. That may be one of the most interesting men to ever live, glad I didnt have to go down to Colombia to chase him.

That theme song is so catchy.

Watched the first two episodes and thought they were excellent. I generally tend to Netflix when laying in bed and go to sleep, and this one deserves my full attention, so I've got to try to fit it in when I can actually sit down and watch it instead of when I'm falling asleep.

I'm on episode 4 now and am really liking it. I recently went through Bloodline and Sense8 which were both fantastic. Netflix has some great originals. If I had to rank them, I would go:

Great
1. House of Cards
2. Sense8

Good
3. Bloodline
4. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

Pretty Good
5. Orange is the New Black

Left out Narcos since I'm not done yet. I would have put Peaky Blinders in great but I recently found out that is a British show. Definitely check that one out too.

How in the F do any of you watch this and not expect Turtle, E and Drama to randomly appear? Great show, just can't get over this expectation that I'm watching some weird spin off of Entourage.

The Killing is good and so is Lillyhammer both better than bloodline worse than HoC imo

My wife and I blew through season 1 in less than a week. Good show, but it really demands your full attention with so much of it subtitled. Between this show, Bloodline, and Daredevil (among others) Netflix is really on a roll with their original programming.

Really good show, lots of 80's drug cartel history in Columbia not just Escobar.

Key though is you do have to focus due to the Colombian location, characters, and government officials involved speak Spanish and ~60% is subtitled. I actually think it is a good choice as it is shot movie quality and it helps give the movie authenticity of a biopic but, you may want to shut off twitter/email to pay attention to the story.

Funny I had the exact same Entourage Medellin comparison as other posts too. Fortunately, I was able to separate it out by assuming it paved the way for a better made series. Like the Kutcher Steve Jobs Bio pic paved the way for the new Fastbender version.

I watched the first episode and have not continued because of it being subtitled. I'm OK with things here and there, but if most of the series and characters is being subtitled, I just can't do that.

Why can't they just speak English like normal people!?
