Devlyn Cousin transferring

He wasn't going to play the first game. The usual first game team rules suspension would have applied to him.
Whatever. You don't go thru training camp and frickin quit on your teammates right before the season starts. And why in the hell does Shane B keep losing players? I'm so ****** off. Right when there's a glimmer of hope for our DL, Lucy pulls the ball away from Linus at the last moment. Whoosh!

Has Rustshack turned this into a positive yet? Or saying he was not very good anyway? I don't want to read the whole thread.

I wouldn't say it's a positive, but it's understandable since we are switching to a 3 man front and he's not going to see significant minutes like he would have in the 4-3.

I just wasted my time reading through 8 pages of crap and speculation....
Skipped to the end for this reason. I bet I "missed" a lot of crying, whining, baseless speculation and mud slinging by immature fools.

Well, I wouldn't say I'm missing it, Bob.

when I was six, my dad told me that were isu fans. Which means we get s*** on but we get threw it. Motto of my life.

I agree to a certain extent. But if you are constantly bringing in guys with baggage and it isn't working out (see post quoted below) then it is on the coach. I am pretty sure that Rhoads once said something to the effect that what kills a program isn't the guys you don't get but they guys you do get that don't work out.

He will never build a consistent winner (and I mean 6-7 wins/season, not pie-in-the-sky) if he doesn't change this.

No wonder we never have any depth and are always "young and inexperienced". People who rip his recruiting are going after the low-hanging fruit. The real problem is the list quoted above.

Right, but to be fair most of them left when things really went to **** (last two seasons). Either way, it tells me there are some culture issues

Do we know how much 3-4 they are playing? Is it exclusively that?

Just another reason in a long list why we shouldn't be switching to a 3-4 IMO.

I haven't really heard a good reason to switch to it yet. Not with our personnel anyway.

And the list of excuses for why we'll only win 3 games this season continues to grow for Paul Rhoads.

Going to imagine he is soft and doesn't want to work his way back into playing time.

Another day closer to the end of the CPR era. The beginning of the end starts in 10 days

You know that Lucy/Charlie Peanuts avatar thing you have going.......you will be Charlie when Rhoads exceeds expectation this year and returns for another season next year. What kind of fan hopes for the coach to be fired? So many F***ed up posters here, yourself included. Why would you ever want to willfully hope and predict for your team's demise? You must be young and of the entitlement era within our society. Good luck to you as you will likely fall dreadfully short in achieving your aspired goals in life. Pathetic.

So, Jeff Woody (who explained it in a podcast on exactly why it fits our personnel)....he's just dumb, then?

So them why sit out? Still makes no sense to burn a year of eligability.

I was more making note that he wouldn't have to sit out a year (people were saying he would have to go to FCS) if he was going to graduate and transfer to FBS. Sitting this year only hurts him when he does lace them back up.
