Girls are crazy about their hair. I usually try to keep mine dry when in a pool, but know that it may happen.

That is exactly what she was complaining about. I mean fine, if you don't wanna get you're hair wet, great! Don't be in the ******* pool if it means that much to you

I mean, I could pick this apart a lot, but just sticking with the hair part, women spend a lot of time and often a lot of money getting their hair the way they want it. It's even not uncommon for them to not wash it every other or every few days to keep it that way as long as they can. If she wasn't in the water, it's a reasonable belief that she wasn't planning on her hair being wet. If there were no kids around, it's even reasonable to think she would be able to get into the water and not get her hair wet.

Also I was just informed by Ms A that her father is coming to town tomorrow to introduce us to her new 25 yr old step mom.

Ms A is 24.

There's no way I can be drunk enough for this by the time they show up.

Dude chance for a mother daughter combo with them both being sister like in age. It's not every day something like this falls in your lap.
