The new head lady will be funny with that group. Her inability to grasp what they are saying will be great.

I binged the first season yesterday. The jerk off calculation discussion is one of the funniest things I've ever seen, as well as the entire dynamic with the graffiti artist who paints the garage door.
It is seriously the best d*** joke ever written. And there have been a lot. There are some good articles online about how the science behind it is really solid.
I'm curious to see if they have a lot more of the new boss in the new season. I don't really care for her character - it's like she's autistic or something. I'll miss Russ, I have to admit - that character was so delightfully douchey.

yeah, Russ was a great character, especially compared to the gal that runs Raviga. I think that's going to be weird.
Asperger's, YES. That is it. More accurate than autism.
Yeah, like Al was just saying, it definitely seems like she has Asperger's. That social oddity works as a joke at times, especially given the dynamic of the show - but I can't imagine giving a whole ton of screen time to that one joke.
Russ was great...he had so many great lines..."I put radio on the internet!"
The Jerk Mean Time episode was the best episode of both seasons...not only because of the whole breakdown of JMT but also because of Jared freaking out when they think they have to come out with a new app and interviewing people outside and ending up getting arrested.
I tried to explain the JMT scene to a bunch of dudes at a bachelor party and they looked at me like I was crazy...finally had to send them the scene the next day and they loved it.
I think the best episode this season was the one where Richard went to the porn convention...some of the names of the porn sites were hilarious...Non Consensual Santa...Poop on my Wife...Porn Hospice...I may have found my new fantasy football team name in that episode.
Great show.
Totally agree with every word of this. We were dying at the porn convention, that was genius.

I think my favorite part about the show is its authenticity. Like last night, when they were going to delete everything, Dinesh says something about modifying a version of DBAN to do it. And they show his computer screen in the background of the shot, where it absolutely is running DBAN. It's at the main menu. It's maybe a 1 second clip, but it's just a little nod to the industry, and adds that layer of realism that tv shows tend to ignore when they talk about tech.

Season overall was pretty good. Richard's character can be "annoying" with how they make him seem like an endless screw up of putting his foot in his mouth. The drag out of him trying to contact the guys NOT to delete everything was predictable, however Gilfoyle and Dinesh were funny as **** when they went at each other like always.
Looking forward to season 3 with the change of leader and what's going to take place.

It amazes me that more shows don't just have one expert to make sure all of that stuff is right.
Like in The League where they talk about trades like kickers for Peyton Manning and just getting free players.
Somebody has to know specifics about what you are talking about with these show budgets!
Nobody does it better than Silicon Valley.
Sunday's are the best starting this weekend...Game of Thrones, VEEP and Silicon Valley. Possibly the three best shows on TV right now.
