Too much risk of getting shot-down...He should use that extra $ to get a helicopter to fly from home to the UC. A lot less stress that way too.

Do what your signature says you're going to do.. because at some point that time IS going to happen again, it maybe next year, it maybe in 10 years but nothing lasts forever! Enjoy and celebrate the good times, support the team during the not so good times.
17 years ago when Floyd left I felt that it was the end, especially when they hired some guy named Larry to replace him. Things didn't go so good that first year, but man what a ride we all had!

Won't bother to watch the presser. More FH BS. Oh it was a diffucult decision, I love ISU, blah, blah. Fred, we know the real you now so just tell us that you are a money lover that sh** on ISU for your personal financial gain. Oh and thanks for quitting while still getting paid. We can and will do better with a coach that is actually upfront and truthful.
Nate Loesner was also in that conversationI guess when they were tweeting about NBA plays after the surgery, it was plays for the Bulls.
Any word on the rest of the assistant coaches? Both for Fred's new staff and the guys left at ISU?One little note: Sounds like Charlie Henry will be on Hoiberg's staff in come capacity in Chicago. Probably not as a coach but like a video guy or something like that.
This is why many of us, as long-time Cyclone fans, can never really enjoy success without fretting. We are always looking over our shoulder waiting for the other shoe to drop and for something bad to happen. Because the past has shown over and over that things can (and will) change in an instant. So next time we are having success and some of us are still nervous, maybe now you will know why.

I'm not done with ISU athletics. But screw it, I' done with the kick to the stones. I'm taking my dog and myself in and we are getting neutered.
