Some speculation this may be Hornacek. May not need to pull him away from Phoenix if that is the case.
Which really doesn't make any sense. He has overachieved with the rosters the organization provided. Decided last summer that having their three highest paid guys be point guards was the direction to go. That decision then blew up in their face when one of the three became unhappy with the situation. Made it worse when they couldn't decide which of the three to let go and wound up losing two, killing any shot at the playoffs.

Maybe Hornacek was to blame for not keeping the players happy and the organization holds that against him. I don't know. Would seem a little impatient to let him go this offseason or even next though.

Where are you seeing that?

all of the replies don't mention him. The consensus on that seems to be Mchale. Or even tibs ;)
I searched Hornacek to see if there was anything with him/Iowa State that isn't already being circulated. Ran into that Sheridan tweet. Nothing major in terms of rumors but people be speculating.

If they want to keep Hornacek, going into his last guaranteed year, they'll probably either extend him to guarantee 16-17 or offer him a new extension. If they don't do either, good chance he's either gone or fired depending on how next year turns out.

The Bulls really can't block Thibs now because if we hire Hornacek you know they (Suns) will hire Thibs. And we cant hire Horny until they hire Hoiberg so the only way to truly block Thibs is to not hire Hoiberg ;)
IAStubborn...you might have a little genius in you.

The more I read of the Bulls situation, the more I affirm my suspicion that Foreman and Paxson are petulant little children.

Yeah...if they really cared about Fred, they wouldn't be putting "their friend" Fred in this position. They will chew him up and spit him out when he's no longer of use to them. I feel for Fred because he's the ultra nice guy. Forman and Paxton are the Anti ****** and the false prophet.
