ISU Club Baseball Team Needs Your Help

Looks like Texas is in the club World Series, so they must have both. Maybe this is a common occurrence.

It is, at least for southern schools. Some kids who don't make the NCAA team play on the club team in hopes of improving and making the NCAA team, but most just play because they like playing baseball.

Donated. Having played baseball I'm laughing that our best team in school history is a year when it's a club sport...

Is it really our best team in school history? The 1957 (Gary Thompson played on this team) and 1970 teams played in the varsity world series. The 1957 team finished third.

It's been funny to watch their bandwagon fans latch onto the baseball team this year.

Had several games with over 2,000 in the stands. Pretty incredible for one of the worst teams historically in the big ten.

Ranked top 15 and are 37-12 with minimum a 2 seed clinched in the conference tournament. Projected a 1 or 2 seed in the NCAA regionals.

This post sounds like ISU football minus the ranking/seeding stuff. Of course that trend might take a tumble this year.

Thanks for the link. See they eliminated #1 ECU in a wild game - 18-13. ECU had 7 errors. Onto the final 4. Tonight's game is vs. Oregon.

That is a weird bracket. It seems it should be set up so you face teams from the other side of the bracket when you lose rather than potentially the same teams again.
