Attaboy Boxster....since she just won't accept the ego boost flirting from us young'uns, you're gonna have to take the lead on Carvers.

:pwink:

Random question for everyone (well, drinkers anyway):

What kinda drunk are/were you? Happy, sad, angry, talkative, sleepy, confrontational, funny, frisky, focused (this is weird, by a friend of mine is this), flighty...

I don't really get drunk anymore, but if I do, I get a lot more talkative. Also, I'm normally a quiet talker, but my wife likes to say that after I drink, my voice gets to a more normal volume. Sometimes getting loud, but not often.

When I was younger, I had a wide range depending on the situation. I'd say alcohol boosted whatever emotion I was going through. Except anger. I've never understood the "angry drunk"

I don't get overly drunk usually, as I hate not having control of myself. Typically I get more awesome, but combine that with flirty (even moreso than usual) and does lavish count? If I drank enough, I'm often buying drinks for everyone and it's not uncommon for me to realize the next day I just paid a couple hundred bucks for booze.

Gawd, I forgot that one. I get pretty free with money in the right setting. I remember one particular morning fishing a receipt out of my pocket that was over $350 for alcohol alone. I didn't really mind because it was a hellagood time and I'm positive I've spent my money on much dumber things. However, I can't make a habit of that and expect to have an un-chewed *** by the missus.

I grew up dirt poor. Single mother working three jobs and a non-existent dad that didn't pay support. So when I say poor, I don't mean "couldn't get the newest Jordan's" poor. I mean, butter sandwiches for dinner poor.

Now I make good money. And while I don't typically blow money and usually am really good at saving, for some reason in a bar setting when I've had a few, that Poor Pantsy wants to come out and let everyone know how well he's doing by paying for drinks. It doesn't break my bank account, but it's something I shouldn't really do.

Thanks, ISU for making me feel old and letting me know that I graduated five years ago today. And nice try and trying to use it to make me give you money. You gotta wait longer.

My wife got a slightly different version:

Happy anniversary, Mrs Cooler!
This month, 20 years ago, you graduated from Iowa State University. We hope this email is a nice reminder of this very important achievement in your life!

I'll get my 10 year in December.

DH also graduated in December. Hmmm.
I could have graduated in December (community college transfer and semester long internship pants alluded to), but I decided to go back and complete my history degree.

A degree I have yet to use.
