So the 4.5 YO likes to wear his cyclones gear, this morning at the library for story time, he had his jersey on. Of course, all the locals like to tell him he should root for Iowa....today one guy said something about Herkey, and he responded "Herky is a Turkey!"

Tear came to my eye when Mrs. 00clone told me that story....

Never hire someone that can replace you for less money. Always sabotage that interview.

They also say you should "develop your replacement" if you want to get promoted. I say **** that ****. Whoever takes my old position can fail miserably for all I care. In fact, it makes me look even better when they do.

Honey and soy work really well together, but getting that mixture right can get tricky. Hopefully you got a good recipe.

Are you using a crock pot liner? I've never used honey in a crockpot, but it sounds like something that might take 2 days of soaking to clean!

The recipe said to use olive oil to coat the crockpot first..... hopefully that works.

voting today on a couple things I already know how I want to vote but then I'm trying to figure out mayor stuff and it's confusing. I have no idea what I want a mayor to do, ha. The current one lost the primary last month or I'd probably vote for him because I feel like the city has had good development since I moved here. But then he got bitten by that groundhog.

I have no idea what's on the ballot in my village tonight. By the way, new POI on tonight, and next week as well.

I had a Chinese student tell me about a village he visited. I think it was 30,000 or so.

Gold Fish are evil. Not only is the toddler addicted (I don't mind that much) but it is hard for her parents to not eat them too. Hopefully her Easter crackers will be gone today.

Looking at my village's police report from last year, there was one "discharge of bodily fluids" citation. Hope that was just public urination.

Yuck. Any type of cheese cracker is disgusting. All the Goldfish are safe in my house, no temptation there. I bought the vanilla cupcake Goldfish to put in Easter eggs for the little girls. A few eggs had jelly beans or chocolate in them, a few with money. The 3yr old happened to grab mostly eggs with Goldfish. She sat down to open all her eggs and was so disappointed when egg after eggs were filled with crackers. She was feeling very cheated.

The big girls had eggs hidden downstairs, they each had to find 12 plus there was a golden egg hidden for each. Hubby hid all the downstairs eggs. At last count the 11yr old was at 9 eggs (the 9 yr old was up first and found the easier eggs) and neither one had found their golden egg.

My mom was surprised that Z only found the goldfish crackers. There were a few chocolates and teddy graham ones.

I don't taste the cheese taste. I think it is their saltiness.

Grandkids love the multi colored ones. I buy the little milk carton ones, and they can each have their own. If the individual cartons aren't totally destroyed, I refill them from the gallon-size carton.

Why the **** do people do this kind of ****? Don't try and tell my kid, or anyone else for that matter, who to root for.

I don't care if you're "joking around" because behind that you are serious.

And I know I am biased but it seems to be a lot more prevalent from Hawk fans than the other way around. The arrogant, jack ***, attitude is one of the main things I hate about Hawk fans. I don't give a crap that your team wins more football games than Iowa State. If that was the only reason to root for a team then no one would chose Iowa State OR Iowa.



Oh, and when my 8 year old is asked about the Hawkeyes, he replies with "BOO HAWKEYES!"
