I was watching the game last night with a bunch of friends. One of the guys I didn't know started talking about ISU so I was chatting a bit with him. He was ok at first, but he started getting really overbearing pretty quick (talking in definites) about what recruits we were getting, Fred going to the NBA, Matt A stealing recruits, etc

I asked him his source for all of this top-notch info and he say that he's on Twitter a lot and he's an avid member on CF. When I asked him what his username was, he immediately got defensive and wouldn't tell me. Apparently he's a superhero and his secret identity is everything.

He asked me mine. I told him I was imjustkcclone

we can totes figure this person out. But you'll need to provide more intel.

I am trying a new recipe today. It is pork roast with: honey, soy sauce, garlic, basil, and salt. It is in the crockpot and hopefully will taste really good.

Honey and soy work really well together, but getting that mixture right can get tricky. Hopefully you got a good recipe.

Are you using a crock pot liner? I've never used honey in a crockpot, but it sounds like something that might take 2 days of soaking to clean!

it's weird being on the other side of an interview. Especially when you are mostly an observer and their technical skills are sooooooooooo far beyond yours.

Well then he would HAVE to know it wasn't me, if he's an avid CF'er. IRL, I don't spend a lot of time with people that use those words.

nah, they weren't to replace me. Be on my team though so I'd work with them. I think I'm more in on these to see if I feel like they'd be a good team fit. I ask a few questions but my other team peeps ask the technical stuff.

voting today on a couple things I already know how I want to vote but then I'm trying to figure out mayor stuff and it's confusing. I have no idea what I want a mayor to do, ha. The current one lost the primary last month or I'd probably vote for him because I feel like the city has had good development since I moved here. But then he got bitten by that groundhog.
