People are worried about ISU starting slow, and it's a legitimate concern.
But you could argue that the Cyclones have played their best game of the season in the Round of 64 for three years straight:
2012 vs. UConn, 77-64 (8 vs. 9)
2013 vs. Notre Dame, 76-58 (10 vs. 7)
2014 vs. NC Central, 93-75 (3 vs. 14)
2015 vs. UAB, ??? (3 vs. 14)
Each of those games were followed by good performances as well:
2012 vs. #1 overall seed Kentucky, played well against an amazing team
2013 vs. #2 seed Ohio State, came down to the wire and almost got a 10-2 upset
2014 vs. #6 seed UNC, got the win without Georges Niang
Fred seems to know what he's doing to get these guys ready for the Big Dance.
