3 days left and Painter is up 2%. Not sure what sort of BS they are pulling over there, but Fred needs to win this.
Voted. Still down by 2 points. Something seems awful fishy about this. Hard to believe Purdue is not cheating somehow.
They aren't cheating. Every one of their voters votes every day, because they are likely organized and having a few volunteers do it that way.
My hometown won a contest like this (a concert by the Band Perry) by asking supporters to send their emails and having volunteers do the voting for them every day the contest ran. I can easily see a small but dedicated charity being able to pull that off.
I bet if you saw statistics for the voting since the late night loopholes were closed, ISU's is up and down and theirs runs about 100% of their daily total every day.
This tiny charity finished second last year in the contest, they've obviously got things figured out.
If you haven't voted by 11:00 p.m. Central time I think you are already to late to vote for Friday. Perhaps some of Fred's votes aren't getting counted.
Please tell everyone to vote early Sunday or they won't get a Sunday vote. The rules are the voting is over at 11:59 a.m. Eastern time Sunday which would be 10:59 a.m. Central time. That is why I base my theory that you can vote for a new day after 11:00 p.m. Central time.
A lot of Purdue fans that are on Eastern time might have that advantage. If you have ever voted between 11 p.m. and midnight thinking you are voting in the current day and then vote earlier in the day the next day and it says you have already voted that is why and it causes a lose one day of voting.
Those of you on social media please get the word out that fans need to vote ASAP on Sunday.
Right now Fred and the AHA is down 45% to 47% and is probably pretty hard to win but just like our men's basketball players we must not give up.
it's too poetic for us to not win it at this point. Heart Association - between Fred, JP, and how our team tries to give you heart attacks, we need to win this!
