Curious if my "Hilton at Home" experience was unique.
I couldnt be at the game, was 500 miles away, but tried my best to uphold the Hilton Magic. I warned the girlfriend but she opted to stay, big mistake. Truth be told, I was melting down in the first half, slamming scotch and swearing a blue streak. I had the TV up way too loud and her dog freaked out and sprayed mud, basically spackled the laundy room walls brown. GF got ****** and left for the neighbors with 2 bottles of wine, I said nothing as she left.
Neither the dog or her has forgiven me yet, and I don't care.
Tell me I'm not alone.

That was funny!

No my experience last night was not that bad....I watched Better Call Saul for most of the first half, but luckily I turned it back to catch the 22-0 run!

My dog did not spray mud.....she is still being house broken though. No accidents during the game.

I suppose it's better than your girlfriend spraying mud and the dog bringing 2 bottles of wine to the neighbors.

Great story.. :-)

Sorry, sounds more like a Tavern hok, god bless your soul.

OK, I may have embellished a little, but the dog did crap in the laundry room from the stress and the girlfriend is pizzed.
Hope things were calmer at your place. I kinda enjoyed the excitement.

I figured I should probably send my 12 year old son to bed at halftime, he wasn't handling it well, which isn't like him. I asked him what was up and he said the Hawk fans at school are tools when ISU loses and they just do not let up. I agreed to record the rest of the game for him, just in case. After I finished watching the game, I left him a note with the remote that said, "Better watch the game this morning before school, the tools won't have much to say."

Ya you're not alone (well for some of that, yes you are). It gets rowdy in our place even if it's just me watching. I've also been known to scare that cat and dog, and girlfriend thinking I take it was to seriously. Lots of jumping and cussing/screaming, both upset and joyful.
