Starting Seniors on Senior Night

Hope to see Edozie and BDJ get the start, but Fred hasn't done it in the past, so I'm not expecting it. I think Edozie really deserves extraordinary applause given the fact that he's seemingly accepted his role on the bench, even though he was contributing nicely when McKay became eligible.

Would be a cool send-off to the seniors by CFH.

BDJ's senior night tribute should be particularly moving. All the many weeks of history...

I don't know what world you're living in but Edozie had 9 points against Maryland and that was the only game he topped 4 against any of our "name" opponents in the preconference. Seems like a good guy but let's not get carried away.
 
I can't remember if Floyd or Eustachy did it, but one of them did. The crowd loved it and the team did as well. Really got everyone jacked up and it was fun for all. Don't remember it ever harming us.
 
We should do it. Especially considering our Seniors are all solid players, it's not like DE is the 12th man. If it is a 12th man type take him out at first dead ball.

The people in here who say no one does this clearly watch zero basketball. Coach K, Dean Smith, Roy Williams, Bill Self, who has heard of those guys?!!?
 
I think we would if we didn't have much to play for anymore or if we were playing Texas Tech, but this is Oklahoma and we cannot lose this game. Nobody want to go into the post season losing 3 out of 5 assuming we beat TCU. BDJ and Edozie aren't exactly walk ons but the best players need to be on the floor today.
 
Didn't McD do it with Alex Thompson and Sean Haluska at one point?

I think we even won that game... Inexplicably...
 
I'm saying this will happen tonight, the lineup I put in the original post will be the starting lineup this evening.

Not only did the "scrub" seniors (Thompson and Haluska) start, they played most of the game...

Not playing regular starting lineup stalwarts Justin Hamilton or Lucca Staiger very much.

So, hey, it worked then?

I don't see it. I always say, if Fred didn't start Tyrus on his senior night, then he won't for anybody.
