is that the same one I took? We didn't talk about football at all though. American Family history, I believe.
History 495 was for history majors where they wrote a capstone paper to complete their degree.

My paper was 25 pages long.

I took one of the 400 level ones but now I can't remember the number. The paper for that class was about that long though, fun times.

Pretty sure that was a requirement when I was there, kind of like Journalism law.
Oh wow. They didn't even offer it when I was first at Iowa State, even though it was listed in the catalog. I had to beg and plead to get them to actually offer it.

I took Western Civ and I think that counted as my history.

I also took a Religion class which was really fun. Learned a lot about Eastern religions. I think I studied more for that then for a few classes for my major.

I also earned a religion minor.

Dr. Avalos may have been the best instructor I ever had.

I took 205 and 210 with DH. That one had a young prof and it was a fun class. 205 was a summer class and super dry.

I have no idea how people can remember their professors and course numbers. I guess I'm just getting old. The only profs I remember from college were my band directors.

Granted I was sitting in Dr Avalos' classes just a year ago.

Yeah, the then new Greenlee school president or whatever the position is called taught it. Can't remember his name. Had a beard and glasses. May or may not still be there.

In JLMC we had to have an area of interest not related to journalism. Mine was sociology, and I took a Sociology of Religion class the ended up being one of my favorite classes. Took a couple more religious studies classes just for the enjoyment of it after that.
