More Players Out the Door

Guys who were not going to play decided to leave..... Who cares.

We wont be any worse without them.

Mutcherson I get, and have seen his impact.

But why Leslie? Granted he was never going to take time from Bibbs. But apparently never even saw the field this past year? That being said - I've not been impressed with our coaches' ability to get guys game time experience (special teams, down 30 mop-up, etc), so perhaps that isn't fair to the kid.
So we messed up by not putting leslie on the field last year so he can play immediately?

So how many more commits are we looking or hoping to get now?
Full house, tons, many bodies.

We might be able to get 25 plus one instead of 18 or so.

Jobs are available. Sounds like we just lost six or seven scholly players to clear the deck. No wonder the staff was recruiting all over the country at end of season. They need volunteers. We will be young and inexperienced once again in Year Seven.

Yep, losing a couple third string players and replacing a junior safety with another junior safety who played well at the end of the season is really making us young and inexperienced. I mean, who the heck will sit on the bench where Lawry and Williams were last season? (No disrespect to those two, just trying to prove a point).

Mutcherson is the biggest loss, but I'm not too worried, as I think Floyd can fill in without missing much. He's a bruiser like Mutcherson.

Leslie isn't a big loss, either IMO. We have two RS freshman TE that should be pretty good, maybe he saw the writing on the wall and went somewhere else to get some playing time.

I'd like to see Scotty Schaffner at TE now. Not sure if he's gained much weight (played WR in high school and was at 228 lbs this summer) but if he's up to about 240+, I'd like to see him on the field.

At the end of the year when Bibbs was injured wasn't Quan getting time at tight end instead of Leslie, or did I dream that?
