Walking Dead

I'm all for the brutality they used to kill the Cannibals. The Cannibals were going to cut everyone's throat with no remorse until Carol showed up.

You can tell the Gang is still human when they dig graves for the people they murdered.

I didn't have a problem there, either, especially with the glee the one guy seemed to have for getting to Judith. That's a bridge too far.

It also does makes sense to not waste bullets. In the comics they talk about bullets (by now bullet supply would be a main story line if the plots were parallel)and supplies a lot more and how using bullets is always a last resort, although some of that is about sound and now they have silencers.

Did anyone read The Road or watch the movie? Regarding this angle The Walking Dead seems light and cheerful in comparison.

Carol gets abducted and ends up in the same hospital as Beth. The person with Daryl is a new character that Daryl met after Carol was abducted. This new person managed to escape from the hospital that now has Beth/Carol. This new person along with the rest of the group are going to go on a mission to recover Beth/Carol from the hospital. End of season.

I would have tied each of those cannibal freaks to a tree, stabbed each one in the liver, and then let them die and turn that way. Those asshats deserved a much crueler death than they got.

I was thinking something similar.
Just drag them outside, slice their Achilles and let them try crawling from the walkers. Like Carol did to Denise Crosby. Shoot her in the leg and let the walkers finish her off

Introduce a completely new main character this far into the series? Bold move but they've done it every year except it is usually an antagonist instead of a protagonist.

Screaming symbolism with Rick framed by the arch.

note the irony of the communion biblical verse on the arch (communion). "“He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life”

I think a lot of the biblical verses while sometimes a little obvious in placement, really fit the storylines well right now.

Jeez, I didn't even recognize her. Had to do the google thing after your post.

Where does Morgan fit in?

Agree. If I ever witness a group of people slitting throats and were getting ready to slit mine, and I cross paths with them again, I would be as brutal as possible. I would have cut their feet off, cauterized the stump, took a hammer to their knee caps, dislocated their elbows, and drug them outside for them to be eaten alive. Eff them! Kill em all WITH RAGE!!

Couple things about details, that make it less realistic.

1. Noticed Tyreese and his jiggly belly fat when he was digging the graves. Just stuck out to me in an episode where people are claiming to avoid starving by eating people that the big dude has lost no weight.

2. Isn't it nice that in the post apocalypse that Rosita finds time to shave her underarms and legs? Gonna wear makeup to? At least the guys are scruffy looking.

:skeptical:

Everybody ages...even Tasha Yar!

Yup, just a wake up call for me reminding me how long ago it was that I watched her in Star Trek. Time flies is not a saying, it's a fact. Zoom, zoom!

It should be obvious by now that I am not working today and am avoiding yard work (raking, raking, raking, bagging, bagging, bagging)
