That's tough, usually always root for Big 12 over B1G but kind of feel sorry for Iowa compared to Kansas. Kansas football sucks but they are great at basketball and Iowa sucks at both.

That's tough, usually always root for Big 12 over B1G but kind of feel sorry for Iowa compared to Kansas. Kansas football sucks but they are great at basketball and Iowa sucks at both.
When you play that weak of a schedule it is a bit ridiculous to try and claim you are the better team. Iowa is the WORST team we have played so far. What do you think Iowa's record would be and ISU's record would be if the schedules were reversed?
It would be SPECULATION for me to predict Iowa's record with ISU's schedule. So why would I bother to do that? Iowa tends to play to the level of its competition so I really don't know. Anyways, ISU beat Iowa in 2002, the year that Iowa lost in the Orange Bowl (the Orange Bowl is a major bowl-game that features two of the 10 or so best teams in the country. I'm adding this because I don't know if you guys would know much about that kind of thing.). Was ISU better than Iowa that year? No. No they weren't. They upset one of the best teams in the country and then proceeded to lose most of their games. Iowa isn't one of the best teams in the country this year but they are probably better than ISU, even though they were upset by the same ISU earlier this year. Let's wait and see how the season pans out.
Iowa is a better school than ISU. I will do more with my Iowa degree (and graduate school degree from Iowa) than any of you hicks/cowboys/janitors will do with yours. You are in the back seat, we are in the front seat, and Hayden Fry is driving this thing. I'm better than you, you're better than ISIS, and ISIS sucks in general. it isnt even really an apples to apples comparison. just look at the hows it calculated. better yet, start to read how its calculated and see if you can make it through the entire description. its a completely arbitrary, inconsistent system that exists in an attempt to give non-revenue sports some relevance.

no iowa football fan should ever reference their record in any given year as a means for measuring performance. ever.
playing in the big 10 is not even really an apples to apples comparison with the other power 5 conferences. the conference schedule is a completely arbitrary, inconsistent system that exists in an attempt to give 13 of the 14 teams that aren't that good some relevance.
Iowa is easily the worst team we've played so far in football. If Iowa played our schedule, they'd have the exact same record as we will, except of course with 1 less win since they lost to ISU.
One game actually does show who is better. The winner is better. We were the winner. We are better. If ISU played mac level teams all year, wed be bowling, you play in a January bowl because thats when all the big10 bowl games are scheduled you dumb ****. DO you know anything about anything?
