If you're up near Kaanapali for lunch, check out "The fish market Maui". Good fresh fish, as near as some Iowa folks could tell. Not a fancy place, there's a retail fish cooler on one side and the small restaurant on the other, but we loved the food.
Felt SO GOOD to have the windows open last night...even when George and Gracie started a conversation about 20 feet from the window...
went to get coffee. Machine isn't working. Again. Haven't had coffee in months. That's not fair.
The good thing about driving in Honolulu at 4:30am is it's probably the only time of day when the traffic isn't God awful.
I usually don't pay attention to the side bar ads...but this one jumped out at me. Our inexpensive source for a specific type of high vacuum grease lubricant in a tube went out of business. I was doing a web search yesterday for a new vendor. Today my sidebar ads were for lubricants and grease...and not all are intended for vacuum seals on equipment.

It went well. They're gonna fly me out for an in person interview soon. Should be cool. They apparently pull out all the stops including First Class, A Limo from the airport to hotel, luxurious hotel, limo from hotel to job campus, expensive steak dinner, etc etc.
Even if I don't get the job (though I probably will to be honest, they seemed overly interested on the phone especially when I told them the other companies I have offers from) I'll be happy getting wined and dined.
I used to catch **** for knowing the name and number of pretty much every ISU football player on the roster, but not being able to remember to pay the water bill on time or to get milk.
My employees at my last job used to joke about how awful my memory was. The ones that I'm Facebook friends with or still regularly talk to all mention how good my memory has suddenly gotten. I tell them it's always been good, I just didn't care about the petty ******** people talked about, and half of the time I probably wasn't listening to them, even if I was looking them right in the eye.

I wish I could be a person that can randomly quote movies. For whatever reason, I just can't. The only exception is Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and that's only because I've probably seen it over 100 times.
I can remember music lyrics like its my job, but I cant ever remember what was talked about in lecture yesterday.
