It lasted for a good 15-20 min. I thought babies didn't notice storms until closer to two. Oh well. Thankfully she got back to sleep by 4.

I used to say my boys could sleep through a nuclear holocaust. My cats, on the other hand...they DON'T like storms. And they have claws...

My daughter got herself dressed for school this morning. She came walking to the kitchen wearing hot pink shorts, brown cowboy boots with some zebra print soccer socks showing out of the top, and a white sequined tank top that says "Cowgirl at heart".

I made sure she didn't smell like rum before sending her to school.

Yea, thats true. Most of the time I dont count what I had for school lunch as food. I had the same flavorless hamburgers for lunch once for an entire week. Then they would give us the same ****** burger the next and call it a beef patty. Made me enjoy them so much less. I did learn to love pizza, chicken, or anything non hamburger related so much more.

I wanted to help my mom fix Christmas lights when I was about 4. She said "sure, go and get dressed" figuring it take me longer to get my snowsuit and stuff on than it would for her to fix the lights.

Boy, I showed her! Came out in a pink tutu and rain boots.
