Oh! Yeah, that's what i did in Indiana. I got completely out of that when I quit and moved. Too volatile and hostile of a business. I mean, I was awesome at it because I'm kind of cutthroat, but working for the devil gets exhausting after 8 years.

I really should update that. I only create a linkedin in the first place to apply for jobs and look more professional.

Not sure if covering, or srs...but hoping desperately that srs, and srs is plausible given my observations and your statements, so I'll go with srs.

Eh, I'm not ashamed of it. If you think the clientele base is trailer park Tavern Hawks, you'd surprisingly be mistaken. When I was the manager of the one in Ames, a large number of my customers were ISU staff members and professors, including tenured ones. It's a business with a sometimes deservingly bad reputation, but there's a need for it. Americans are much more in debt than you're even led to believe.

Anyway, I'm sounding like a ringing endorsement for them. Like I said, its a cutthroat business. But I got out because of increasing federal regulations putting clamps on the business. It's VERY bonus driven. I was making 25-30k in bonus alone every year. But that was about to be cut in half, so I got out while the getting was good.

Jesus, I sound evil. Let me say, I truly did care for my clients, and most of them were some of the kindest and most thankful people you could ever meet. It was just time for it to end for me.

Carl, just for you (and anyone else that cares to view my Linkedin) I updated to my current info! I also included a picture of myself.

Yes, That is a velour suit jacket.

Yes, I was wearing it ironically.

Yes, I went back and bought it because I realized how awesome it was.

Yes, it is currently in my closet.

I feel dumb not knowing how to do this, but when you reply to a poster that has quoted someone else, how do you get them both to show up?

Go to the original post that was quoted, click on the "+ in the bottom right corner. Go to the post you want to quote that contains the original quote, click the same "+. Then click reply with quote on the second post. You can do more than two, or quote several separate posts by using the same function.

I usually take the first/oldest post and copy it then hit close. Then open the second and paste the first above it. Then type whatever I want to say.

I don't know if this is the best way but that's how I do it.

Just tried this and it totally works so much better than what I do.
