How I pick pineapples is to try to gently pluck the leaves out of the top- if the leaves are easy to pluck its a good one, if they are hard to pluck or don't come out at all they are not ripe.

What I have problems with is picking a good watermelon. Its usually not ripe enough. Any tricks?

I think the biggest things with watermelons is the spot should be a yellowish color instead of white or green and the less shiny, the better. You're supposed to be able to tell by sound when thumping it, but that's always been a crapshoot in my experience.

I've been getting gray (more white than gray) hair since I was 18, so I'm used to it on my head, but it's all over in my facial hair now too. It's somewhat disheartening. And I'm even finding it in my chest hair. Bad day for realizations.

It's making it's way south, the twig and berries are next.

I have some "oddly dark" eyebrows. (Fair skinned, lighter hair/eye color) Confirmed this morning the finding of white eyebrow hairs.

*pluck!*

Arob, are you working with Drew and Jonathan Scott? Because they always get the house in a multiple bid situation.

Just chowed down on baked tilapia with some black pepper and a baked sweet potato...

...while watching the last few minutes of ISU v OSU basketball.

Yum.

I lost my pinky finger this weekend. I was working on a baler and the dumb *** in the tractor decided to turn the PTO on to see if the baler was still working. Looks like it'll be easier to show nine with my hands now...
