NBA Draft 2014

MJ makes a move to help Lebron????

1. I think MJ is comfortable with his legacy. He should be.
2. 3 picks for Shabazz is a steal. That's just a show for LeBron, and the Hornets took advantage of it. You can get two Deandre Kanes and a 1st round pick for the price of a guy who still has to be better than Chalmers and Norris.

Rumors that Bulls are looking at a sign and trade for Melo and that is why they also acquired Anthony Randolph in the Doug McDermott trade.

Anthony Randolph will still be getting traded when he's 35 and teams will still be talking about his potential.

Anthony Randolph, the trade piece for everyone. I expect he'll end up winning a championship for an 82-year old Greg Popovich.

Oh gotcha, thought you were talking about Huestis. I don't mind that they took McGary but they could have gotten him with their second pick. I just think they passed over a lot of quality wings which they really need.

For the love of God, will Bill please shut up??
It's the 40th pick, no, we don't need to go back and talk about the 13th pick. And shut up, they are announcing the next pick. And seriously, does he really need to say "Wow, good pick" after every single name is called?!
Bill is making this impossible to watch/listen to.

I don't know that they could have. Miami may have taken him there over the Napier deal.

No. That **** gets tossed around all the time but it's never been true.

It is true for specific teams, but it is a case by case basis. Some coaches don't play rookies, don't do a good job coaching them, or don't give them enough attention. Some teams are likely to sign their late drafted players, others tend to sign veterans instead. It isn't a strictly better or worse. It depends. That said, it is generally better to be drafted.

Is it better to go undrafted?

This isn't football. These teams have much more limited roster space. If they draft a guy like Kane, it's because they wanted him enough over talented players in the D League and lottery tickets from Europe. Of course it is better to be drafted, but not being drafted is far far far from the end of DK's NBA career.
