1. I think MJ is comfortable with his legacy. He should be.
2. 3 picks for Shabazz is a steal. That's just a show for LeBron, and the Hornets took advantage of it. You can get two Deandre Kanes and a 1st round pick for the price of a guy who still has to be better than Chalmers and Norris.
Anthony Randolph will still be getting traded when he's 35 and teams will still be talking about his potential.

I don't know that they could have. Miami may have taken him there over the Napier deal.
It is true for specific teams, but it is a case by case basis. Some coaches don't play rookies, don't do a good job coaching them, or don't give them enough attention. Some teams are likely to sign their late drafted players, others tend to sign veterans instead. It isn't a strictly better or worse. It depends. That said, it is generally better to be drafted.
This isn't football. These teams have much more limited roster space. If they draft a guy like Kane, it's because they wanted him enough over talented players in the D League and lottery tickets from Europe. Of course it is better to be drafted, but not being drafted is far far far from the end of DK's NBA career.
Yes.You need maybe max 10 players on your tea. A 2nd round pick is potential or a specialty player.
