Hoping I can use my parent's DISH login to use the WatchESPN stream.

Got it. The only game I will miss will be the last game against Germany (its at 12:00). Ill be able to watch the other two. I just hope we can get past Ghana. They've been a pretty tough out the last 2 world cups....

I can't wait! There is something I can't describe that has a feel that for me, any game in the WC is a huge deal and I'm hooked.

I am so pumped! Love the World Cup. Behind the NCAA Tournament, it is my favorite tournament.

Hope U.S. gets out of the group. It will take some serious work and a few lucky breaks, undoubtedly.

It's in a perfect timezone for us in the CDT as well.

I get that way too. I think part of it that I can pretend that they aren't playing for money or anything like that, but are instead playing for love of country. It feels a lot like the olympics to me.

Portugal is battling some injuries by the sounds of it which will help.
And I'm actually not feeling as bad about Germany as I was after watching their tune up matches. They're still going to be the massive favorite, but I have more confidence that we could hold them for a draw (which was all I was expecting anyway).

I think the ceiling for the United States is picking up 4 points in the group stage.

I agree. Im thinking we draw with Germany and Portugal, and defeat Ghana. We have to hope Germany wins their other two, and Portugal can draw with Ghana. This is best case I think.

Bingo, lucky for the USA that Germany and Portugal play each other first therefore possibly putting Portugal immediately in a hole

I hope Germany cruises in their first two games, and has a "let down" against us..maybe we can sneak a tie.
