When did I miss CF's 80th Anniverary?

On top of being a Cyclone fan, the snark is one of the reasons I enjoy this board and decided to get my own account. Most of the time it is easy to tell when people are being funny and when they're being serious. Stop taking everything so seriously and you'll enjoy it a lot more.

I have no idea what you are talking about. That being said, I haven't really jumped into the football threads yet. Everyone is much more positive in the basketball threads.
 
Oak is the traditional gift for an 80th anniversary. Let's have a tree planted at the foot of the Jack Trice statue and erect an inflatable Busch Light can for the kids to play with.
 
I totally agree with the sentiment of the OP, but just wanted to remind everyone that we can't call out individual posters. Edited for consistency. :)
 
This is pretty much how I expected it to go. Quick point to my original post, I usually post snarky comments and try to lampoon others on here in good jest too. But there are far too many on here not doing anything closely resembling that, that seem hellbent on proving the ineptitude of a team that has even begun fall camp. Trying to lighten up all the Francis' on this board a bit. I have zero problem with any responses to said post, that's fun. Again, dumping on the team in June, not so much. And the one I called out was with respect to them as a poster and good person on this site. Thought they were an example that would appreciate candor, but totally understand the edit. That said snark on snarkers!:smile:

Kudos on the Stripes reference, but the damage is done. Feelings are hurt and a great chasm has divided the Cyclone faithful. Hope you're happy

Might as well throw in grammar police, I know how Angie loves it....I believe the plural of Francis is actually Francii. I could be wrong, but that won't stop me from calling you out.
