Anybody use this site and find it helpful?

While doing my taxes (turbotax) I noticed that you can use it to upload tax documents rather than enter information manually.

I use it but don't use it for taxes. Nice to combine all accounts into one log on.

I use it. I like that I can enter my budgets and it will keep track of how much I've spent in each category. Takes a lot of the hassle out of tracking your spending.

Agree with the two above me. It's super handy. I don't do any sort of tax stuff with it, though.

Agree with above, keeps track of all my accounts so I can see all transactions and trending in one spot.

Also, makes sure the wife isn't sneaking anything past me

I don't use it for taxes but really like it for tracking progress on goals + all your transactions and accounts.

I travel a lot for work/put it on my card for points/expense it, so it's description of my spending habits regarding my income and goals are way out of left field.

It's nice to see the account balances, though, and my total net worth slipping and gaining over various months for various reasons, so I think it's a nice tip.

I think everybody would probably save more/spend more rightly if they had a one-stop reference like this all of the time.

You could split out amounts relating to work so that they don't throw off your personal data.

I think as long as your bank has online banking, it will likely work. Worth a shot.

Sadly it doesn't work with all banks. We used Collins Community in CR when we were in Iowa and the service they used for online banking did not allow mint access.

How is the security? I would think a centralized place for financial information would be a prime target for hacking.
I'm a mint user but i haven't ever worried about being hacked. If it was hacked they could only view your account balances. You cannot transfer any funds on mint.

What about all the account login information you are providing. This must be stored somewhere. If hacked, couldn't this be used to log into the actual financial site and transfer out money, etc?

I like the idea but seems like there's a risk.
