CFers,

I'm trying to decide on a great destination for my honemoon, I have traveled the world extensively and would like to find the prefect place. As of now, we are thinking Rio or/and New Zealand. We want to do some activites (hiking/surfing/etc) so it's got to have elevation changes and sun.

Thanks for Johnny!,

St. Lucia seems pretty awesome. Friend went to Mauritius for her honeymoon and she's still trying to figure out how to move there permanently.

Those are too tropical for skiing, but it's single digits here right now, so tropical sounds as good as it gets right now!

I would love single digits. Right now it's -10 here in the tundra.

If you've traveled the world "extensively" then shouldnt you have a pretty god idea of where to go? #liar

I don't, I've never been to New Zealand or Rio though and have always thought they looked amazing. As far as my travels I've been pretty much eveywhere and not seen anything that stood outside of what I could see in the states. It was mostly my time in the service that I saw the world, made it around at age 23. Thanks for any advice.

If you're deciding strictly between New Zealand and Rio, I would go New Zealand.

Puerta Vallarta is a pretty balling place. I never had any trouble. Probably cause I wore my cyclone t shirts everywhere
