IOWA vs IOWA STATE

I watched Iowa play against UNC Wilmington and they are VERY similar to us. Which team is better over all..offense and defense..threes etc. To me...and yes I am a HUGE ISU fan...but I wanted some input on how ISU stacks up against IOWA....because I know IOWA is tough.

I've had Iowa winning since last year. It's nothing against our guys, we are good. But, as much as I hate to say it, they are a talented and pretty experienced team. It wouldn't be a bad loss by any means. And I think we get them next year.

The ISU/Iowa game is a month away. Both teams have played 1 game. Why not assess them now?

Nebraska Omaha beating top 10 Iowa by 4 points midway through the 1st half.

Of course it's UNO's 4th year of basketball so they are really dangerous now, they'll be eligible for the NCAAs next year but it seems they should be ranked #5 in the nation or so.

Iowa is a very solid team. Woodbury, Gesell, Basabe, White, and Uthoff are all solid players, will definitely be a huge test for the cyclones. I expect them to make it to the ncaa torunys this year with that talent.
