*** Official ISU vs KSU Gameday Thread ***

This is the sort of dull, steady domination I expected.
K-State isn't very explosive, but very consistent. Obviously, we're us, and everyone has seen that.

I was thinking the same thing. K-State doesn't have the firepower of a Tech or Baylor, but they're solid fundamentally......and we're not.

Jared Barnett please come back...I can't watch this anymore

If you can't watch this, how in the world do you think you could watch Jared Barnett? The guy bounced passes 5 yards in front of receivers when they were 10 yards away.

You know, we're just going to struggle until we can find a way to make the routine throws. For some reason, we just seem to make the typical BCS pass plays look freaking impossible. There's always a breakdown of some kind. When the OL does a solid job, either the QB cannot get it on target or the receiver boots it. OL has generally been better today and the QBs can't hit the broadside of barn. It's just so frustrating.

When you are physically outmatched in a sport like football, you're going to get hurt. <------why were getting hurt so much.
This many knee injuries leads me to believe the training is a problem. Either
a) overtraining
b) Improper training.

If you strengthen the upper legs without doing the proper work on the lower legs knees pay the price.

if Courtney Messingham has any professional integrity he resigns, and gets Paul off the hotseat.

I've been vocal about Messingham but he's called a good game so far. Running game has moved the ball but our two QBs can't hit a receiver at all.

On the bright side, I think we are only 2 years away from winning 5-6 games again. Yipee!!!!

Incorrect. Passing game no rhythm because there isn't consistent time to throw.

You shouldn't need a rhythm to make the most basic throws as a QB.

If you actually think the QB hasn't been an issue this game, I don't know what to tell you.

If the general idea of conditioning is that it helps prevent injuries, and a team gets injured at a startling rate, the program isn't working. That much has to be clear to all.

Mess is also the QB coach. So if our QBs look like they are regressing or stagnating, whose fault is that?
