*** Official ISU vs KSU Gameday Thread ***

Look at normal good offenses and how many WRs they play. Then look at ours. So many different receivers see the field. Has absolutely nothing to do with depth.

In the second half they better throw the ball toward QB unless he has more than 2 guys on him. He is the only explosive player not injured on this team and he has not touched the ball. Messingham needs to be fired now, I mean before the second half.

Also for those killing Bundrage, he had ZERO targets. Tough to make plays when no one throws the ball in your direction (probably would be overthrown or one hopped anyway).

Like I said before, good OC's find ways to get their best players the ball. Messingham had no problems throwing Daley a screen. Where's that for Bundrage?

Guess not. We dont ask for reviews. Remember Broomfield's INT earlier in the year. I am not sure anyone is watching that part of the game.

It would make too much sense. Will wait until the 4th quarter to look up Bundrage (see also: Iowa vs ISU 2013).

Our attendance is amazing compared to a lot of these teams that are much better. We deserve better.

One of the reasons our QBs look bad - receivers can't get separation often. Not a consistent expectation of what the receiver will do.

Word. The QB's can't rely on the receivers to get to the spot they want to throw to, so they hold on to the ball way too long instead of "throwing the receiver open."

You know...the receiver screen looks kinda nice when you hit the receiver in stride.

Wow, announcer references to a 20 year old movie. Not good commentary on competitiveness and interest in the game.
