I wish him well, but he lost my respect. The time to do this would have been this past spring. To drop your team in late June shows just how much respect he had for his team, coaches, and school. It looks like a very "me first" type of personality and probably gives some insight into why he felt isolated. Now, if it comes out the coaches ran him off, then I will change my opinion. Until then, it is just another case of someone showing us their immaturity. Now, he used up someone elses practice time all spring. We used an entire recruiting season with him already pencilled in. And, we are a month out of serious practice in which his team and coaches were counting on him being part of our schemes. And football aside, trading in an ISU degree for a NWMS degree??? Brilliant.
