I dont know...we have 3 pgs on roster and we bring In a 4th and he only mentions the 2 and provides detail why this doesnt undermine their value. I thought it was at the very least an interesting omission. If nothing else telling that he doesn't see naz as in the mix as the other 3 at point guard.

I thought it was a little intriguing. I don't know how much stock I would put in to it, however.
If enough of the posts work out to provide quality depth, perhaps we will see more pressing this year. Kane certainly seemed to feast on turnovers leading to the break at Marshall. I would love to see more of this depth becoming a factor for Fred. It probably would help Fred keep more players happy, engaged and around.

I would have been more surprised if he had listed Long. Last November Hines of the Tribune stated the staff viewed Long as an off-guard, and I think we saw as much last season. Prior to bubu returning Long only played a few (sub-par) minutes at pg, and none after bubu returned
It was a shift for me, but it sounded like that is how the staff always viewed Long's game translating to the Big 12.
It is one reason why i am still high on Long. He is a bigger guard and fairly athletic. He does have some pg skills, but is probably not a high level pg. As a traditional pg in a system that really lives up to position labels, he may not succeed. For a coach like Fred that knows how to utilize mismatches and combo guards, I think he could be a great utility guard.

There's a very important difference between a guy who essentially covers a beat like CW does for ISU or a guy like Bryce Miller at the Register. I think you need to figure that our before you keep defending your position.
If Law is moving on, I'd suspect it would be so he could play more somewhere and/or not have to pay out-of-state tuition somewhere.

I love the hatred on this site. It's unbelievable. There's a certain group of people on here that would rip my head off no matter what I post. Heck, I'm not sure if some even read what I written when I see their posts ripping on me. They don't make sense. They're just ripping me about things I didn't even say. Kinda like this thread.
