RECRUITING: Allen Lazard info

I just spoke to Urbandale WR (2014 ISU commit) Allen Lazard. I'll have a full feature on him ready for the site next week but thought I'd pass along that he seems very, very solid on his commitment to Iowa State. The only reason I felt the need to post anything was due to the attention that he's gotten since NSD 2013. In fact, Allen told me that he's already trying to recruit other players to Iowa State's 2014 class. He's a super nice kid. I think you'll enjoy the interview.

Great to hear! I know he's not in the bag until he signs but he could be a game changer especially to have him out there spreading the word about ISU.

1. He's definitely committed if he is doing everything he can to bring others on board.

I doubt it because of other sports unless he decides to shift his focus to only football. But that is just pure guessing.

Don't get me wrong, I love Niang and am so glad he's a Clone!

But, in terms of recruits, Lazard is an even "bigger get" than Niang. Frankly, by quite a bit. Lazard is currently Rival's #1 WR in the 2014 class.

In the post game handshake for Indianola-Urbandale yesterday he talked to Keegan Render for a good minute or two. I imagine he was putting a good word in for the good guys.

Agreed. Hopefully at some point niang or lazard will help land a recruit. Love it
