They also had a couple of other good 80s songs. "Don't Tell Me You Loved Me" and "When You Close Your Eyes".
How about "The Final Countdown" by Europe.

Someone mentioned DiVinyls earlier for 'I Touch Myself'. That's really not the DiVinyl's sound. Christine Amphlett was one of the first punk rock females. Here's my favorite, 'All the Boys in Town'.

I was in eight grade going into ninth when this song came out and I remember hearing played every hour on the hour over the radio. It was one of my favorites. I can, however, assure that this video was not available at that time. I don't think my 14 year-old mind would have been able to handle it.

Close. Saw him a few years ago on the free stage at the fair. American Pie, Vincent, and Castles in the Air were the only original songs he sang. Everything else was a cover.
