I can assure you that they are all very neutral. But with that, I think it's human nature to go easier on people that are easy to work with. The ISU media relations people are generally easier to work with so they all have a slight Cyclone lean... That being said, the whole Pollard not coming on the afternoon show but going on Marty regularly can't sit will with Ken and Jim...

Pollard needs to get over that. Ken did nothing to him. Also, I think its painfully obvious that Garman is a Hawk fan, and you cant convince me otherwise. He may give ISU the time of day, but hes a Hawk fan first.

Agree with both points... Ken was critical of Pollard and had good reason to when he was, that's his job.

"Knows nothing (definitive)?" Or "Has heard nothing (at all)?" You have to think that he has heard something. Certainly he is a serious reader of Cyclone Fanatic. I would be disappointed if he wasn't aware of this thread.

I suspect that they have a few talking points about "not knowing anything definite" and "not willing to speculate."

The "expects him to play Saturday" seems like an awfully strong statement for somebody who might know better if there is anything to the rumor. It brings a ray of hope I haven't had for a few days.

Garman is a hok. He pretty much states it, and I think he has said he went to school there (may have been Kirkwood)

Garmen is a Hawk fan, he's even said as much.

Travis has never denied that. However, he does a great job of being neutral when discussing Iowa and ISU. Fisher will talk more about Iowa, and say he does so because there are more Iowa fans in Iowa then ISU fans.
 
I cringe how these threads invariably turn into which radio host hates ISU the most.

Can you say inferiority complex anyone? (and if you argue you don't have one, fine , but at least see that it is the image you're projecting)

No one HATES ISU...a couple may have a slight bias towards Iowa. Deal with it.

If he was going to play on Saturday, he or the ISU media would have came out and said he is gong to play and that there is no season ending injury. They are covering it up for the purposes of Baylor's game plan. The thing is nobody from the staff or media is answering a simple question, so obviously he will not be playing.

OR...maybe that's just what they want Baylor to think. And then, at the last second, Knott comes flying out of the tunnel and picks Florence off out of no where!! It's BRILLIANT!!!!

Nobody is saying any of these radio hosts hate ISU. Most people are commenting on the quality of these radio personalities (or lack of quality) and the varying level of crappiness of their shows.

This is what I would like to believe. If true, it would be the all-time greatest act of gamesmanship.

Travis and Tim - blatant Hawks, I don't see how this could be argued. Tried them for a couple days, went back to Mike and Mike.

Murph and Andy - Murph slight ISU, Andy is probably the most neutral guy on KXNO.

Miller and Brinson - Miller strong ISU, Brinson strong to whoever they are interviewing on the show at a given time.
