Tiller turning heads at WR

+1. It'd be easy for him to just pout and quit or leave. But instead he's busting his *** to help the team in any way he can.
I think the phrase that you were looking for is "busting his chops".

If he's playing well enough to get some reps, great. He has good size, and is a good athlete. And senior leadership is always an asset--just ask Oklahoma State about Senior Day.

They can run the wildcat with him and the other team won't know what to expect.

on another note... i will not be disappointed if tiller doesnt see the field this year. would rather see a younger guy get the PT and gain experience rather than a guy with only 1 year of eligibility left... it's not like he is gonna make much of a difference. i see bundrage, ecby and daniels seeing the field alot more than tiller.

Good thing CFH doesn't employ your "logic" ...

Oh there was a quite a lot of pouting by JT when his academic issues went down.

That would be dumb, he's not a strong runner. If he had Arnaud, Bell, or Tebow's type size I'd agree.

Whether Tiller sees the field or not, I still think he is making a difference. The great attitude of a senior who moves on through adversity and doesn't complain and is doing what he can to help the team is contagious. It is an example of ALL IN and doing what you can to help the team.

Not everyone gets to see the field. The example of working hard and fighting through adversity gives someone for the younger players to look up to and see the Right Way of doing things when things don't work out as a person had hoped they would. That form of contribution is invaluable.
you make a very good point. i never really cared for tiller, but you are right about this. he is doing all the right things after being in a bad spot last year. if he makes the field it IS because he earned it... i guess i am just more excited to see some of the youngens

Definitely excited to see some of the young guys. And I think some will see significant playing time.

Just pointing out that a senior like Tiller who is still busting his butt to contribute in any way he can is a positive. It would have been far easier to "pull a Bates". Leadership in telling kids to pay attention to school and your grades is invaluable. And also leadership in being an example of being ALL IN and doing whatever is asked to help out the team in whatever way possible.

Heck, we need everyone. Even the guys who NEVER see the field on game day are giving those that will play some competition in practice and players to practice against in preparation for gameday. ALL are contributing in some way.
